Chief Dessell is a veteran bringing 20 years of law enforcement experience and attended IUP Police Academy. He also leads his own hometown as the Chief of Police, demonstrating a deep lifelong commitment to public safety. When he is off duty, he dedicatedly spends his time with his children.

Officer Preece is a graduate of the Westmoreland County Community College Police Academy, Class 63. When he is not serving the Verona community, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys golfing, hiking, and hunting. He is proud to bring his passion for public safety and community connection to the Verona Borough Police Department.

Officer Brasile is a graduate of the Westmoreland County Community College Police Academy, Class 63. Deeply committed to protecting the Verona community, he brings a strong sense of duty and professional service to every call. Outside of uniform, he enjoys playing ice hockey and golfing, but his favorite way to spend his time is with his son.
