NOW HIRING: SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD

The Verona Police Department is looking for dedicated, community-minded individuals to serve as School Crossing Guards. This would be on an as needed basis.

- Part-Time | School Days Only

- Hourly Rate: $14.50

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Possess a valid Pennsylvania ID

• Pass a background check/obtain childhood clearance

• Physically able to stand/walk for extended periods in all types of

        weather conditions

• Display excellent judgment and communication skills

• Must enjoy working with children and the community

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe crossing of students at assigned locations

• Use hand-held stop sign to manage traffic

• Communicate effectively with children and drivers

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
